The Town Hall will be closed on December 22nd, December 25th and January 1st for the Christmas and New Year’s Holidays.
On July 18, 2017, the Board of Trustees approved a deadline of 2:00 p.m. on the Wednesday preceding a Board Meeting as the deadline to submit materials (grant application or payment requests, liquor license applications, etc) or request to be placed on the agenda. The following are the three goals that the Board plans to focus on during the 2016 – 2017 local legislative sessions:
1. 8th Avenue & Beyond Revitalization Project
2. Develop & Implement a Police Protection Plan
3. Increase Community Involvement
The Board welcomes your input. You may contact the Clerk’s Office for information regarding dates of the Board Meetings or submit your suggestions, ideas and comments in writing.
The Garden City Outreach Center is located in the basement of Town Hall. The Center offers assistance to residents on Wednesdays from 10-Noon. Assistance is available at other times by appointment. Some of the items that are available are gently-used clothing, toiletries, non-perishable food and blankets just to name a few. Center volunteers will also be able to give residents information about other County and State programs that may be available. Please call the Town Hall for more information!
