This is if your original court day was in May. If your original court date was in April and then rescheduled to May, your new court date is on June 9th.
June 11, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. is the new court date for those who were originally due in court on May 14th, 2020. We will be instituting a new practice to keep everyone safe. The Prosecuting Attorney has looked at all the cases and made recommendations. If you were eligible for a reduction in charges, that has been noted. We hope that you will choose to wear a mask to help other court attendees and our employees stay healthy.
When you arrive, you will be issued a pager, similar to a restaurant pager. You can then wait in your car until your pager is called. We will also have outside seating available with six foot spacing. Only one person, other than the Judge and the Court Clerk, will be in the court room at a time. First come, first served. We will start handing out pagers at 12:45. There will be six-foot markings in case a line forms. We are doing our best to figure out how to make this run smoothly and quickly, but please keep in mind that we’ve never done this before. If you are on a payment plan, you have until noon on July 9, 2020 to make a payment. You do not need to come to court if you can’t make the payment at this time.
