Garden City maintains the integrity of evidence and property collected during criminal investigations or items obtained as found property or being held for safekeeping purposes.
Appointments are available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM in order to retrieve property that is eligible for release. Please contact 970-515-6299 with the appropriate case number in order to set-up the property release appointment.
FOUND PROPERTY
Found Property will be held by the Garden City Police Department for 30 days. If any property belongs to you, the property must be claimed within 30 days. Any property not claimed within the 30 days will be disposed of. Follow the link or the found property page for a list of found property being held by the Garden City Police Department.
